How to use

  1. Add your PDFs

Drop one or several PDFs onto the box above. They stay on your machine.

  2. Pick the resolution

PNG is already chosen. 150 DPI for screens, 300 for print.

  3. Convert and download

Every page becomes its own PNG. Take one, or all of them as a ZIP.

Every PDF page as a sharp PNG

PNG is lossless, so text, lines and charts come out with clean edges — exactly what you want for a slide in a presentation, a table pasted into a document, or a page shared in a chat. Each page becomes its own image, named report-p01.png, report-p02.png and so on, padded so they sort in order.

File size

PNGs of full pages are larger than JPGs, especially pages with photos. If a page is mostly pictures, switch to JPG, or use the PDF to JPG page. To go the other way and turn images into a PDF, use images to PDF.

Private by design

The PDF is opened by pdf.js — the open-source PDF engine inside Firefox — in your own browser, and nothing is uploaded. Fonts a PDF does not embed are drawn with your browser’s own, so such a page can look slightly different from Adobe Reader.

Frequently asked questions

PNG or JPG — which should I choose for PDF pages?
PNG for pages of text, tables, charts and diagrams: it keeps every edge sharp with no blotches. JPG for scanned photos and brochures with pictures, where it gives much smaller files. This page starts on PNG; JPG is one click away.
Which resolution should I use?
150 DPI is sharp on any screen — an A4 page becomes about 1240×1754 pixels. Choose 300 DPI for printing or tiny text, and 72 DPI for the smallest files.
Can I convert several PDFs at once?
Yes. Add up to 20 PDFs, with up to 500 pages in one run. Every page becomes its own PNG, named after the PDF and the page number, and they download together as a ZIP.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened by pdf.js in your own browser and nothing is sent anywhere — which matters for contracts, statements and scans.
